Above a selection of William Garden Greenhart rods and 5 William Garden brass anitfoul rim reels, the upper rod has a leather lower grip and the lower rod has an interesting casting trigger and is matched to a Spinet reel marked JS Sharpe

A - Fancy Salmon Flies, with jointed bodies or other extra work, such as Jock Scott, Bull Dog, Brora*, Torrish, Baron etc.

B – Fancy Salmon Flies, which have no extra work, such as Gordon, Mar Lodge, Silver Grey, Benchill, Sherbroke, Silver Doctor, etc.

C – Semi-Fancy Flies, with plain wings, such as Akroyd, Balmoral, Eagles, Dallas, Purple King, Green King, Lady Caroline, etc.

D – Plain Flies, with plain bodies and wings, such as Killer, Davie Caird, Glentana, Spey Snow Fly, etc.
